After spending years climbing the corporate ladder, Travis realized his family was postponing the life they actually wanted to live.
Instead of waiting for retirement, they made the decision to relocate to the mountain town of Bend, Oregon, a move that completely changed how their family spends time together. Today, they spend hundreds of days each year hiking, skiing, fishing, biking, camping, and simply enjoying everyday life together.
But what surprised Travis most wasn't how much his family's life changed: it was how many other families wanted to know how they had done it.
What began as conversations with friends and coworkers eventually became a proven process for helping families gain clarity on where they truly wanted to live, build a practical plan to get there, and create a life that better aligns with their values.
Because in the end, the goal isn't simply to move: it's to create the life they've always dreamed of.
Today, Travis combines his passion for helping people grow with a practical framework that has helped families stop waiting for "someday" and start intentionally building a life that reflects what matters most.

Tara understands that creating a life you love requires more than a big vision. You also need a financial plan that can support it.
After finding her young family in debt, Tara became fascinated with personal finance and the principles of financial independence. Even with normal jobs, through intentional spending, investing, and thoughtful money management, Tara and her husband became millionaires and reached financial independence while still in their mid-thirties, giving them the freedom to choose whether either of them ever works again.
Tara was also the first family to complete the relocation process that eventually became the foundation of Improvement Community. After spending most of their lives in Western Washington, she and her family relocated to their dream community in Arizona, where they now enjoy more sunshine, more time outdoors, and a lifestyle that better reflects what matters most to them.
Today, Tara helps families build the financial confidence to make a move possible through practical budgeting strategies, intentional spending, financial independence principles, and travel rewards expertise.
